Compensation of CEO of Private Company
We were asked to advise a privately owned business on compensation matters for its founding Chief Executive Officer (CEO). By learning more about its business, we recommended revision to the CEO’s employment and shareholder arrangements.
The business is actively pursuing new product and distribution opportunities.
This engagement represents how we address broader, strategic issues even when first focusing on the immediate needs of the client and shareholders.
For a private company going public, we developed a program of "entrepreneurial" compensation for the CEO, other senior executives, and the board of directors. The program included annual and long term incentive plans to reward the achievement of ambitious performance goals designed to advance the new public company through projected stages of its growth and development.
